Chapter 4: Double Bed, Double Wahala

I try to get close to Kelechi, but e wahala too much.

E get attitude like street cat. Even when I try ask am about him day, e just dey answer me with one word. I dey laugh for mind, but I no give up.

To talk true, na Timi I buy. Kelechi na the awoof. Maybe na because e stubborn, dem just add am as bonus.

E be like say the shop wan balance equation—one gentle, one hard. Make person no too relax.

I think say Kelechi no go show for bed-warming, but after my bath, na so I see two of them for both side of my bed.

I open room, nearly drop towel for hand. Dem just dey chill, dey wait for me.

The whole room just dey smell hot, masculine.

E be like say dem spray perfume, but na natural. I dey sniff air, dey thank God.

Timi smile, wave. "Madam, come here."

E stretch hand, pat the bed. My heart dey beat fast. I dey reason if I go run or join.

Before I jump enter bed, I pause for bedside. "Once the bed warm, una fit go. Your room dey next door—I don arrange am. For now, na only one bed dey, so una go share. Tomorrow, I go buy another one." After all, I no expect say I go get two succubus.

Na small apology I dey drop. I no prepare for two, but I go try arrange.

Timi come down from bed, pause, ask, "Madam, you no want make we sleep with you?"

E voice low, e eye dey search my face. E dey fear say e offend me.

I test the warm bed. "No need. If I need una, I go call."

I dey play strong head, but for inside, I dey reason say e go sweet to try.

Timi drag Kelechi wey dey vex, still look me with one kind eye. "Madam, na because we no do well?"

E dey beg for second chance. My heart dey touch small.

"No," I shake head. "Una don try."

I rub Timi head small, wink. I dey try relax the matter.

Cook, wash plate, warm bed—just as people talk online. No be better pass boyfriend wey dey always stress person?

True talk. Boyfriend go dey form busy, succubus dey do the work without stress.

My bedsheet full with their scent. That night, I dream of two succubus wey almost naked, both wear collar, tie for bedpost—the dream too hot.

Even in my dream, NEPA take light, but these two still dey shine for bed.

E be like Nollywood dream, but e hot pass usual. I wake up, my body dey sweat.

Na so I get wet dream.

Even as adult, I dey shy. E never reach two days, dem don dey appear for dream.

And the main people for the dream na the succubus wey I carry come house. Shame catch me.

I dey hide face, dey pray make dem no fit read mind. I no want wahala.

Omo, I dey craze, dey imagine my own succubus.

Na so fantasy dey start. Before you know, I go dey write romance novel for head.

Even though customer service promise ultimate gentleness, e no suppose sweet reach like this. For middle of night, thirst catch me, I go find water.

I dey waka for corridor, dey tiptoe like thief. My mind dey race as I dey try avoid dem.

As I pass guest room, I hear Kelechi dey para: "Timi, she just dey play with us."

E voice dey loud. Na so I hide behind door, dey listen. My heart dey beat, I dey wonder if wahala go burst. As I hide, Kelechi voice cut through: "Timi, if she dey play with us, make we show am real fire." My heart jump—wetin I don enter?
