Early morning, sleep still dey my eye as I get up. The whole house dey quiet, na only me and my footsteps dey echo for corridor.
I fold my wrapper, pack my small Ghana-Must-Go, and look round the room one last time. Every corner hold memory—good, bad, and the ones I still dey try forget.
No sound from Pei Yan room. I no bother to check. Some goodbyes better make dem happen for heart.
As I drag bag go door, sunlight dey break, painting floor gold. I breathe deep, let the new day enter my chest.
Outside, keke already dey wait, driver wave. I step out, lock door, and no look back.
My story for this city don end. The rest—na tomorrow go tell.
