But Halima Musa night update shock me again:

I see notification—she don post long video for Instagram. Na so I grab popcorn.

She dey claim say after oga reject her, everywhere for office dey target her:

She dey narrate how everybody dey give am work, dey maltreat am because she no gree date oga. She dey act victim, tears full her eye, voice dey break. Her fans dey drop comment: “Stay strong queen!”

Her logic dey another world:

She dey paint story wey no get head, dey use small voice talk say "E be like say oga wan make I run package for am. If I no gree, dem go pursue me." Some fans dey believe, some dey doubt.

“Our oga get only one plan now: na to force me do runs for am as side chick. E don reach thirty-something, sure get all those weird taste, always dey para for me.”

She no dey mention name, but everybody sabi who she dey talk. E pain me say Naija people dey quick believe gist.

“I no go lose, so make we Gen Zs clean up this workplace.”

Her fans dey drop #GenZAgainstToxicBoss hashtag. Even people wey no sabi gist dey join mouth. She dey gather cult following.

She go talk anything just to get likes.

If dem say make she do skit for film, she go collect Oscar.

Her account dey blow—already pass 100,000 followers.

Na so her followers jump overnight. She dey reply DM, dey post screenshot of encouragement.

After I tap 'God abeg' for luck, I see her reply me for comments: “Babes, if you follow now, na you be my real fans. Tomorrow I go pick some lucky babes give them gift.”

She dey do giveaway. Some dey beg for airtime. E be like say na new business she dey run.

Nonsense. She no go get time tomorrow.

I no go gree make her win this round. E go shock her.

Because I don already make dem take down her videos with fake gist.

I use friend for social media company, report page as false info. I use five different account drop complaint. E work like magic.

Account with over 100,000 followers—disappear overnight.

Her account vanish, fans dey ask “Who report our queen?” Nobody know say na me.

Next day for work, even her smile no pure again.

She try laugh, but her eyes dey sad. For Naija, if you lose page, e dey pain pass heartbreak.

When I call her come office, she look like person wey don lose finish:

She sidon, hands dey shake, no makeup. For the first time, she humble.

“I don get your account banned. If you try blow am and I carry you go court, na jail straight.”

My voice firm, no smile. She sabi say I mean am.

Just that, Halima Musa face white like chalk:

She swallow spit, eyes wide. She dey look ground, no dey drag voice again.

“MD Tunde, na just play I dey play for that account. I no talk anything bad about company. If e don go, e don go. I no go post again.”

She dey beg, voice low. No more Gen Z grammar, no more boldness.

“Thank you, MD Tunde, for no carry matter go chief’s court. Na all fake, just to get views.”

She dey thank me as if I save her life. I just dey look her, dey pity small.

Small threat, she mellow.

She adjust skirt, carry file, voice low.

I smile. “I no go sack you. As for people wey dey give you wahala, I check, e true. I don already warn them.”

I give am small soft landing, make she no get new gist for online.

“Go back to work.”

She carry herself waka gently. This time, no more drama. I fit breathe.

Na so you dey survive for office—slap one side, pet the other.

For Naija, you gats balance fear and kindness. Na so people dey respect you.

Halima Musa thank me, run commot.

She nearly kneel down, whisper “Thank you, sir” as she close door. Peace return, even if na small.

With over 100,000 followers, she don chop ad money. Now, everything wipe overnight. With the kind person she be, and the way she dey form workplace-cleaner, she no go ever let am slide.

For Lagos, who lose for morning fit win for night. But this time, she go think well before she use my name trend again. As for me, I don learn—never let pity drag you for mud, especially for Naija office where drama na everyday food. For this Lagos, if you slack, person go use your head do giveaway.
